School was closed to students today, but our faculty were hard at work preparing for the intensive self study and writing required for next years recertification for accreditation.
Oak Farm Montessori School is the ONLY, infant through high school, dual accredited Montessori school in the United States and we are proud of this accomplishment! Not only do we hold a full member accreditation from the American Montessori Society (AMS), but we are also accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS).
What's with all the sweets?? Each level chose a candy that represented their team: life savers for infants, Take 5 for our sweet (and salty) middle school staff, Milky Way for the high school who help students reach for the stars, and DeBrands for our Related Arts Teachers; who are simply the best. After combining everyone's candy, each group enjoyed the sweet treat as a reminder of our collective contributions to the whole community.
