In 2015 I decided to send my children to a Montessori school because I knew that this was the best way for them to learn in order to become the best they could be. Soon, it became clear to me that I also wanted to be the best version I could be. So, I went for Montessori training and soon learned about Positive Discipline (PD). I attended one PD workshop after the other. After a few years, I started passing on some of the tools I had learned to other parents. I was so excited about the progress we made at home in our family that I had to continue learning more and more. Every time I attended another workshop, I got a bit better as a parent, collected more tools as a teacher, became a better spouse, and a more empathetic co-worker. The Positive Discipline principles can be used EVERYWHERE! Almost 20 years later, I’m still far from perfect, but I’m way better than where I started and I am still growing every time I facilitate a workshop.
