In this workshop, you will practice entering the child’s world and learn effective strategies for encouragement and how to use a challenging situation to teach valuable social and life skills. You will explore alternatives to punishment and humiliation, discuss the long term effects of using these techniques, and learn how to involve children in creating an agreement while we, as parents, take responsibility for kind and firm follow through. This in person workshop is being offered for only $25 per person or $45 per couple. The class will begin Wednesday, October 4th from 5:00 - 6:30 pm and run for 6 consecutive weeks.
