The most rewarding and difficult job you will ever have is that of a parent. While play dates, errands and school provide opportunities for social interactions, what do you do when that outing turns into a meltdown?
In this workshop, we will practice entering the child’s world and learn effective strategies for encouragement and how to use a challenging situation to teach valuable social and life skills. We will explore alternatives to punishment and humiliation, discuss the long term effects of using these techniques, and learn how to involve children in creating an agreement while we, as parents, take responsibility for kind and firm follow through. This online zoom class is being offered for only $25 per person or $45 per couple. The class will begin Sunday, March 5th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm and run for 6 consecutive weeks.
