On Thursday, March 16th, from 6:00-7:00pm, Oak Farm Montessori School will offer an
educational event for parents of infants through early childhood. The goal of creating
independence through providing a prepared environment is the foundation of the
Montessori philosophy and the basis for this event.
Discover how to incorporate Montessori styled environments in various room of your home
including: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room and outdoor environments. Real life
examples will be set up to provide ideas and to supplement the experience. The purpose of
this event is to foster confidence in parents to empower their children in successfully caring
for themselves. Those who attend the event will hear from OFMS teachers about how to implement simple changes in their home to create and promote independence.
