Oak Farm Montessori School is now an official FFA chapter!! During National FFA Week in February, the students got to work with Nicholas Newman, Indiana FFA State Secretary from Rushville, IN. He talked to them about things you can do in FFA, and the life skills you learn, which will make you very successful in life. Most people in FFA don’t want to only be farmers. FFA isn’t just about farming, you can learn leadership skills, group work skills, and have a lot of fun. With Oak Farm Montessori's new chapter, students can now compete in Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events!! The chapter will be attending the District III FFA Convention on March 18th at Eastside High School. Congratulations!
