Invasive Species Removal Event

Come to the Oak Farm Land Stewardship Volunteer event on Thursday, November 4th, and help eradicate invasive species around campus. We will cut and remove Autumn Olive and Grapevine plants growing along the fence line near the railroad tracks.

This is an opportunity for you to help make our already amazing campus even better. Together, we can have a direct impact on the quality of the outdoor wild spaces at Oak Farm Montessori.

High school impact students have already been involved with removing some of these plants, but we are looking for adult help in removing the larger plants near the railroad tracks.

We will meet at the garden area near the Green Farmhouse right after school dismissal at 3:30pm. Please bring mud boots, gloves and work clothes. Enjoy a hot slice of pie & hot drinks at the campfire after the Ecoliteracy event. Please let us know your food preferences and allergies; gluten and dairy free pizzas are an option. RSVP at this link.
