Past Classroom Projects

The highlight of the Gala each year has become the one-of-a-kind, priceless classroom projects. Each classroom contributes one or two items to the auction that speak to the individuality of the classroom. These projects are a result of many hours of work put in by the students, teachers and parent volunteers. All live and silent classroom projects will be featured in All Things Gala and in the full auction preview that will be available the week before the Gala. Take a look below at some highlights from last year’s projects.

Keep your eyes open for a sneak peak of that special item made by your child’s loving hands!

 Frequently Asked Questions….

Who is invited?

  • All of our current families, staff, and board of directors will receive an invitation. Please note all guests need to be 21 and older due to the presence of alcohol at the event.
  • We love having grandparents and other family members attend the Gala. Please feel free to extend an invitation to your friends and family. If your would like a formal invitation to be sent to someone, please contact Nicole at nlowe@oakfarmschool.com
  • RSVPs and payments will all be made on line starting January 2. Our secure site allows you to make individual, couples or group reservations.

With whom will I sit?!

The committee members work hard to make sure that you will be seated with someone you will have something in common with – like, children in the same class or age in school! In the long run, remember, this is a community event – you will have fun no matter where you land!

Why attend the Gala?

When people hear the word Gala, they often think formal and stuffy. We prefer the words “casual elegance”. The Gala is the primary fundraiser for the school and the evening is designed as an opportunity for parents, faculty and staff to spend time together in a social setting and work together to raise funds for Oak Farm Montessori School. Giving opportunities are of various levels starting at $15 and up. The evening is filled with food, beverages, creative projects, an amazing video and most important supportive, loving families like you.
